One - I love stars, and have the tattoos to prove it. ;) When I saw these star lights I had to get some immediately. We have them hanging in our kitchen, and they are the closest to outdoor Christmas lights we'll be getting. You can see them from the street so that counts, right? One strand was the perfect size for our 36" window, and they are a great amount of light for first thing in the morning when I don't want to turn on bright lights yet. Coffee, star lights, and blogging. That's how I've spent my last few mornings.
Four - I picked up these Build a Snowman Stickers from Michael's a few weeks ago. The kids and I have built quite a few snowmen already, and out container is still almost full. These are such a fun activity. The kids ask to to them almost every day, and it's a great way to take up a good half hour. We do them a lot of nights while dinner is in the oven. The first couple times I helped guide them through it, and now I let them pick the pieces and place them on their own. I love seeing what they come up with.
Five - Calling all girl moms!! I am doing my first blog giveaway next week, and I'm so excited! I teamed up with one of my favorite headband designers, and will be giving away a $50 giftcard to one lucky reader, plus there will be an available coupon code. Any guesses from the photo as to who the designer is? Make sure to stop back on Tuesday enter the drawing!
LOVE green smoothies and will definitely try this one. I'm marking my calendar for the headband giveaway :)
ReplyDeleteP.S. I'm hosting a Whole Foods Market & Diestel Turkey giveaway on my blog Ice Cream & French Fries . Have a great weekend!
I will definitely have to check out the giveaway. Thank you for stopping by my blog!
DeleteI love your star lights! And as for the picture outfit, I say go for the sweater. I love the look of sweaters on little kids but i never make my boys wear them because they always get so hot. But I do sometimes take pictures of them in sweaters for special occasions and then just take off the sweater after those few minutes of torture. :)
ReplyDeleteWe wound up going with the sweater, and thankfully he didn't fight it. He looked cute, and hopefully the pics turn out!
DeleteLove the sweater! He'll look adorable :)
ReplyDeleteHope your husband's recovery goes well! Disney movie marathon will cure all pain! ;)
Have a great weekend!
